Parecía castillo y tenía hasta canción: De quién era el mausoleo narco que apareció destruido en Lo Espejo
Un reportaje de CHV Noticias mostró los detalles de esta estructura construida en memoria de Diego Marchant, integrante del clan familiar del mismo apellido y que ostentaba de grandes lujos. Animita que además servía como punto de reunión y para consolidar su dominio en el sector.

Hace más de un año que un reportaje de CHV Noticias exhibió el mausoleo narco instalado en medio de la plaza Salvador Allende en Lo Espejo. Una estructura correspondiente al clan familiar "Los Marchant" y que este lunes sería demolida como acción anunciada por el presidente Gabriel Boric en la Cuenta Pública 2023.
Pero tal como se pudo constatar, esta animita amaneció totalmente destruida, lo que habría sido concretado por el propio grupo narco. Esto acompañado además con la frase "Bukele de cartón", que estaría dirigida al jefe de Estado.
Fue a comienzos de mayo de 2022 cuando CHV Noticias dio a conocer la historia detrás de este mausoleo que además servía como punto de encuentro para esta organización y consagrar su dominio en la población José María Caro.
Esta estructura, del tamaño de un departamento, estaba dedicada a Diego Marchant, de 20 años, quien ya había sido condenado por homicidio y el 30 de octubre de 2020 lo mataron de un disparo por la espalda.

Pero ese no fue el único homenaje, ya que también escribieron una canción en su memoria, cuyo videoclip fue grabado justo al frente de esta animita.
Diego era el menor de tres hermanos, siendo Antonella la mayor y líder del grupo, seguida por Ricardo, quien se encargaba de la seguridad.
El padre de familia, Francisco Marchant, era el responsable de coordinar que la droga llegara a sus manos y escalar a grandes negocios, en búsqueda de dejar atrás el microtráfico.
Antonella, además de ser la cabecilla, tenía la función principal de distribuir las sustancias y recopilar el dinero correspondiente. Pero una investigación de la PDI haría caer su imperio mediante el decomiso de uno de sus cargamentos.
Por medio de conversaciones con su pareja, uno de sus brazos operativos en la cárcel, la policía pudo seguir las transacciones de la droga.
Finalmente, como dato anexo respecto de este mausoleo, se pudo constatar que contaba con cámaras de seguridad para resguardar su integridad.
