Al igual que la mayoría de esta familia, Trace es un músico, vocalista y guitarrista de la banda Metro Station.

El cantante es hijo de Tish, madre de Miley, y su anterior pareja, sin embargo, Billy Ray fue quien reconoció al joven con su apellido.

Trace causa furor en redes sociales tras publicar su nueva canción con Brenda Song – ex chica Disney-, la que suma más de 300 mil reproducciones.
